2024 Winterization Project
After a couple months of planning, hands-on work, and meticulous attention to detail, we’re proud to announce that Cabins #5 through #8 are now fully winterized and ready to welcome guests into their cozy interiors. This project was no small undertaking. Saskatchewan winters are known for their relentless cold, and ensuring these cabins could endure both the elements and the demands of our visitors meant we had to roll up our sleeves and upgrade nearly every aspect of their construction and apply extensive insulation throughout. By completing these improvements, we’ve positioned ourselves as a premier choice for those seeking Saskatchewan cabin rentals that truly stand up to sub-zero conditions and remain cozy when the temperature dips below -30.
One of the key focuses of our winterization efforts was boosting energy efficiency and comfort. Improved insulation in the floors, coupled with heat tracing all water and sewer lines was no small task. We’ve also installed new gas furnaces with digital thermostats. Our goal was to ensure that even at -30°C, our guests enjoy a warm, welcoming refuge, ideal for unwinding after a day of adventure on the surrounding trails.
