Memorial Lake

Memorial Lake is a short walking distance from Aurora Skies Resorts. There is a well maintained beach, as well as a boat launch and docks to rent for daily use. There is opportunity to catch northern pike in Memorial Lake. Please note, personal watercraft are not permitted in Memorial Lake Regional Park.

Morin Lake

Morin Lake and Morin Lake Regional Park have beach access and day use facilities. Morin Lake is a clear, sandy bottom lake, with walleye and northern pike populations. This park offers a boat launch and small resort amenities such as a hall rental for larger groups. This lake remains cooler through the hot summer months and is a great place to take a day trip to and explore.

Nesland Lake

Nesland Lake is approximately 10 minutes east along highway #3 and offers great canoe, kayak, and paddleboarding opportunity. The lake is stocked annually with rainbow trout and has a small gravel-based boat launch for small non-motorized watercraft. There is also a decent population of perch in Nesland Lake. 

Jimmy (Pratt) Lake

Jimmy Lake (Pratt Lake) is surrounded by private cabins and does not offer any public beaches or facilities. The gravel boat launch at the south end of the lake would allow for medium sized boats to be launched for day use. The lake has populations of walleye, perch, and northern pike.

Big Shell Lake

Big Shell Lake and Big Shell Recreation Site offers a boat launch and public beach. Good northern pike and walleye fishing in this sandy lake.

Iroquois Lake

Iroquois Lake is south of the Village of Shell Lake and offers a public beach and boat launch, along with good fishing for walleye and northern pike.

Emerald Lake

Emerald Lake is a clear, natural spring fed lake that has a beach and boat launch. There is opportunity to catch walleye, as well as northern pike, and perch. This is a great place for a day trip to play 9 holes of golf and enjoy the day use amenities of the lake. There are kayak rentals available, as well as 3 playgrounds and a concession stand.

Martins Lake

Martins Lake has a 9-hole golf course with a clubhouse. The lake is great for day-use, with a public beach area and recreational activities. The lake has a new boat launch, and opportunity to catch walleye and northern pike fishing.
